We started this initiative to continue our efforts to 'go green' and take impactful climate action to reduce carbon emissions and secure the future of our planet. By planting trees, we offset carbon on behalf of our customers through https://moretrees.eco/. They believe 'making a small change can make a big impact'. More:trees work on projects worldwide to support various co-benefits such as poverty alleviation, biodiversity and community support. Current projects are taking place in Madagascar, Kenya and Haiti, where they work with local communities providing farms with work to support the local economy and protect animals from deforestation. Over 170 tree's have been planted so far, so thank you for helping us to continue our journey to help the environment and go green 🌲 Testimonial Tuesday! This testimonial is from a client with 12 properties held in a family trust, based in Kent. We have consolidated and lined up all their contract end dates, making the admin easier and giving them more buying power at their next renewal. "We have multiple accounts for electricity, gas, phone lines and mobiles. A number of our accounts came out of contract over a few months and our utility prices started to rise. Diane and her team took away the stress to find the best price across all suppliers for all our sites, saving money long-term. All our contract dates now line up. The support to help manage them day to day has been the icing on the cake and it’s so much simpler now if I have queries, no more waiting on hold to get through to speak to someone. Their specialist knowledge across all types of utilities is invaluable". Save money & plant a tree! Our goal is to help businesses take impactful climate action to reduce and offset carbon emissions and secure the future of our planet, supported by our carbon platform. In addition to our carbon platform, we are pleased and excited to announce that during July, a tree will be planted on behalf of every business client that we put in an energy contract with, through moretrees.eco, who, like us, believe ‘making a small change can make a big impact’. Moretrees have partners in Madagascar, Kenya and Haiti who work with local communities to plant the trees. The key benefits of this initiative are: -Removal of carbon from the atmosphere. -Providing farms with work, to support the local economy. -Protecting animals from deforestation. -For every tree planted on our clients’ behalf, the client will receive a certificate confirming the plantation. Three things are contributing to this; 1) Since the UK left the EU transportation costs have risen and they continue to do so 2) Price increases drivven by the government clawing back lost revenue from 2020 3) Supply & demand as businesses start to re-open All of these factors have an impact on the market and the industry experts are anticipating further rises throughout 2021 into 2022, despite the road map out of lock-down. We love happy clients - Testimonial Another testimonial from a happy client in the inbox this morning. "We were referred to Your Utility Partner to see if they could save any money with our office electricity bill. Our current provider just offered a standard rolling tariff and I was concerned our electricity charges weren’t very competitive and likely to go up this year. Well Diane was a delight to deal with, answering all of my questions and easing any concerns. In fact she even assured me that they could resolve a historical issue with our billing details and also get our smart meters installed, where the current provider had cancelled or not turned up twice in the last year when previously arranged. Following the review of our recent bill, it works out that we’ll save a minimum of £800 p/a over the 24 month contract period, and we’d also lock in our unit rate too, so shielding us from any price rises during this term. If this wasn’t good enough already, the day after the new provider took over, we received a letter from the previous one that our rate was going up 10%! So this has increased our saving further already! So I am even happier with the switch. I really couldn’t recommend Diane and her team more highly. Fix before 1st April! The big search engines are advising clients to shop around before 1st April increase. Let us shop around for you, to save you the time and hassle. This is what we do best. We are whole of market, accessing every provider when we quote on your behalf and the process takes just 24/36 hours without any involvement from you. Simples! The alternative is you can do it yourself, which involves sitting online for hours or days but never be sure you have the best price available. You can use a comparison site but they are typically not whole-of market, they push preferred suppliers (PSL) that pay to be at the top of the listings and the prices you are offered are not consistent from one comparison site to another. The choice is yours but whatever you do, do it before 1st April. https://www.dailyrecord.co.uk/lifestyle/money/how-to-beat-energy-prices-23612154 Launching our ‘Go Green’ campaign!
